Smart Columbus is seeking up to 10 residents who are interested in 200 hour paid workforce development training opportunity to join our installer team for the Connected Vehicle Environment project. “Connected Vehicle Installers in Training” will receive 40 hours of paid training about installing connected vehicle technology in private resident vehicles. Once the training has been completed, you will be placed at a local auto shop to put your newly acquired skill to work and assist veteran installers in completing 500 private vehicle installations between September and November 2020. “Installers in Training” will earn between $13 and $14 an hour.
