Youth and Community Empowerment Grants program will fund organizations that engage with youth and families by creating positive experiences and job readiness. To be eligible for funding, a program must fall within the following two categories:
Youth and Family Engagement: Programs will support safe, thriving, healthy connected neighborhoods for all residents. Funded work will be responsive to the needs of Columbus residents.
Workforce Development: Programs will help ensure that the city maintains a prepared workforce, one that is well-positioned to enhance their skills for the future of employment in Columbus.
Organizations receiving mini-grants will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of community engagement and data-backed outcomes. Collection of reports and program data will occur throughout the funding period.
